Job Description

iTrust Global Limited is looking for a Bilingual Software Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to work on our Development Team.

We are seeking a meticulous and methodical Bilingual Software QA Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of software quality through rigorous pre- and post-deployment testing and continuous monitoring of software health. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and executing detailed test plans, identifying and documenting software defects, collaborating closely with developers to ensure timely bug fixes, and supporting users with any errors they encounter. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate across diverse teams and with international partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Test Plans: Create comprehensive, detailed test plans based on software specifications and requirements to ensure thorough testing of all features.
  • Execute Tests: Perform a variety of tests, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing, to identify software issues.
  • Document Defects: Accurately document and report defects, providing clear descriptions and potential steps to reproduce issues.
  • Verify Fixes: Validate that issues have been properly resolved in the final product, ensuring that fixes work as intended without introducing new problems.
  • Monitor Software Health: Continuously monitor deployed software, track performance metrics, and report any anomalies for further investigation.
  • Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with software developers and other stakeholders to communicate QA results, advocate for quality standards, and assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Quality Assurance Best Practices: Keep abreast of the latest testing tools and strategies to enhance the QA process and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Support Ticket Management: Monitor and respond to support tickets for our platforms, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of user issues while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and continuous platform improvement.

Requirements:

  • Language Proficiency:
    • Mandatory: Fluent in both English and Mandarin to facilitate effective communication with all team members and international partners.
  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in software testing tools and methodologies.
    • Familiarity with T-SQL Command for effective data querying and management.
    • Basic knowledge and experience with AWS.
    • Experience with automated testing tools such as Cypress, Postman Script, and others for E2E and API automation testing is a plus.
    • Some experience with Python and SQL is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
    • Proven track record of identifying, documenting, and assisting in the rectification of bugs or defects.
  • Personal Skills:
    • Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact effectively with different functional areas.
