Job Description

iTrust Global Limited is looking for a Bilingual Data Analyst to work on our Development Team.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bilingual Data Analyst to join our innovative software startup in the mental health space. As a Bilingual Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Product Owner in driving the development and success of our mental health software product. You will work closely with the Product Owner, development team, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, identify user needs, and contribute to the overall product strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish Data Pipelines:
    • Design and implement data pipelines using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric to facilitate seamless data flow and accessibility across the organization.
  • Design and Maintain Automated Reporting:
    • Develop and sustain automated reporting systems tailored for both the clinical and development teams, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of data-driven insights.
    • Utilize advanced features in Power BI to automate and streamline report generation.
  • Maintain Data Integrity:
    • Oversee and enforce protocols to maintain the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data throughout the organization.
    • Implement and monitor compliance with data governance standards to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Create Tools for Organizational Insights:
    • Develop and deploy analytical tools and models that provide new insights into organizational performance, efficiency, and strategic opportunities.
    • Leverage Power BI and other analytical tools to extract, analyze, and visualize complex data sets.
  • Build Logging Pipelines and Dashboards:
    • Construct and maintain logging pipelines specifically designed for in-house software applications, ensuring robust data capture and storage.
    • Design and develop dynamic dashboards using Power BI to visualize and monitor log data, aiding in quick decision-making and operational adjustments.
  • Create Ad-Hoc Excel Reports:
    • Generate ad-hoc reports using Excel as needed to support various team requirements and special projects. Ensure these reports are accurate, timely, and formatted to meet the specific needs of the requestor.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
    • Work closely with IT, clinical, and development teams to identify their data needs and tailor data solutions to meet these requirements.
    • Facilitate training sessions for non-technical staff to enhance their understanding and use of data reporting tools and dashboards.
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
    • Continuously assess and improve data handling and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Stay updated with the latest trends in data science and business intelligence to implement cutting-edge solutions in data processing and visualization.

Requirements

  • Language Proficiency:
    • Mandatory: Fluent in both English and Mandarin. This is essential for effective communication within our diverse team and with our international partners.
  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for creating reports and dashboards.
    • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and complex formulas for ad-hoc reporting.
    • Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar data integration tools.
    • Knowledge of database management and data warehousing principles.
  • Experience:
    • At least 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.
    • Proven track record of designing and implementing effective data pipelines.
    • Experience in maintaining data integrity and implementing data governance standards.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain logging systems
  • Analytical Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to process large datasets to derive actionable insights.
    • Capability to develop tools and systems that provide new organizational insights.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to clearly convey complex data in a straightforward and understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in documenting processes and data flows.
  • Project Management:
    • Strong organizational and project management skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Collaboration and Interpersonal Skills:
    • Strong team collaboration skills.
    • Experience working with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that support business objectives.
  • Continuous Learning:
    • Commitment to continuous education and improvement in data science and business intelligence.
    • Keeps up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
