KKTV is a Taiwanese video streaming service provider that went online in October 2016. KKTV subscribers gain access to thousands of Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese, Hong Kong, and Chinese dramas and anime, which they can watch on-demand on mobile, tablet, web, or smart TV applications.

We're seeking a mobile app engineer who is willing to grow with us and build the top 1 video streaming service in Taiwan.

As a Flutter Developer in KKTV, you will:

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for developing and maintaining KKTV products on mobile, tablet, set-top boxes, and smart TV platforms using Flutter technology.
• You will contribute in virtualized testing environments, familiar with testing automation frameworks.
• You will code review with other developers and identify issues and weaknesses.
• You will collaborate with other developers, product owners, and designers to enhance the product.
• You will implement new features in our existing/new Apps using Dart/Flutter while aiming at meeting the highest performance standards.

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in Android application development with Kotlin from basic components, UI implementation to stability and performance issue debugging.
• Familiar with multi-thread programming.
• Self-motivated communication skills, problem-solving skills and attitudes.
• Continuously explore new technologies to enhance our existing apps and suggest architectural improvements.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Java, Flutter.
• Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD and automation tests.
• Experience with ExoPlayer implementation.
• Good to show your previous work achievements on approved Google Play Store App or piece of code you've contributed to any open-source projects.
