KKTV is one of Taiwan's very own OTT streaming services, with a vast library of dramas, movies and anime from countries like Japan, Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China. As a Backend Developer in KKTV, you will :

1. Actively participate in code refactoring and the design and development of new features.

2. Writing unit tests and automated tests to maintain clean code and stability.

3. Optimizing product performance and user experience through data-driven approaches

4. Collaborate closely with other engineers, product designers, and product managers within the team to discuss product planning.

5. Handle day-to-day service operations and troubleshoot and resolve issues in case of emergencies.

6. Provide technical support to customer service for clarifying and resolving technical issues in response to customer complaints.

7. Conduct tech sharing sessions to exchange knowledge and insights with fellow partners.

We hope you have the following qualifications:

1. Over 3 years of software development experience, with familiarity in Ruby on Rails and Golang.
2. Proficiency in cloud service design and management (AWS is a plus).
3. Proactive personality, willing to communicate and problem-solve within the team.

Bonus qualifications:

1. Experience in billing system or payment gateway development.
2. Experience in video transcoding, encoding or streaming-related development.
3. Experience in integrating Docker, CI/CD, or IaC like Terraform or Pulumi.
