As the technical consultant, you work with cross-functional machine learning, clinical data science, and engineering teams to build and deliver AI-powered solutions to health insurers globally. You have the ability to distil complex requirements into practical and business relevant technical solutions for clients. Your prior experience in highly technical projects and developing solution architectures allows you to rapidly design and articulate solutions to development teams. Your knowledge of new technologies and industry ideas, and how they apply to digital transformation, allow you to develop technology roadmaps contributing to client innovation and value creation.

Responsibilities

- Work directly with client and stakeholders to determine project requirements and technical landscape

- Ensure client success by proactively collecting and transferring client feedback back to the team

- Ensure that proper lightweight documentation to capture the technical solution design including technical specifications, technical roadmaps, data models, integration specifications, among other artifacts

- Ensure solutions are delivered to technical specifications across application development, instructure, and security

- Deploy solutions ensuring operational readiness and support is in place including meeting internal standards and procedures

- Present technical solutions to stakeholders at all levels internally and to client organizations

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in computer engineering, business, Information sciences or other related field

- 5+ years of Technical Consulting, Solution Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture experience

- Experience in scaling up technical platforms and services in a startup and large enterprise IT environments

- Experience in design and architecture documentation

- Experience with integration technologies such as API management (APIM), enterprise services bus (ESB), or extract transform load (ETL)

- Knowledge of Data Science products or products involving the use of ML/Deep Learning technology

- Experience in development, infrastructure, security, or solution architecture

- Experience in operationalizing systems and deployment of systems

- Strong communication and presentation skills, experience interfacing with various business and technical stakeholders

- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Cassandra (PostgreSQL preferred) databases

- Experience with git-based version control

- Experience with microservices architecture

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and/or Docker Swarm architectures

- Extensive experiences with Cloud platforms, such as AWS and GCP

- Good written and verbal skills in English (Traditional Chinese Mandatory)

Nice to haves

- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and GitOps practices

- Knowledge of Apache Project Ecosystem (ZooKeeper, Kafka, Spark, Hadoop, Cassandra)

- Knowledge of Jenkins and Groovy, and with the design of CI/CD pipelines

- Experience with digital product development and management

- Well versed in JIRA and confluence
