Responsibilities

  • Produce effective and delightful training content for a wide range of job roles
  • Evolve and scale the content creation business model to meet the business needs
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with business goals and objectives
  • Create the long-term vision for content and oversee the production and delivery of all content
  • Manage budgets, project timelines, external vendors, and content creators
  • Create and manage all content guidelines, policies, and standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that content efforts are integrated and aligned with overall business goals

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 10+ years leading teams that produced training content in a fast growing medium or large company
  • Hands-on experience leading teams of 50+ Content Developers and Managers
  • Experience with Educational Content Production, leading managers of managers/ director or greater level
  • Experience with Content as a Product for external learners (not internal employee training or training on how to use software for customers)
  • Having worked with content creation via full time employees or third party contractors, which includes an established business model for doing so
  • Be able to push through uncomfortable conversations for the benefit of all with all types and levels of stakeholders
  • Ability to drive team success in performance and quality with clear measures of success
  • Able to attract, build, develop, and retain high performing teams in conjunction with the recruiting team
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive self-starter with a passion for delivering high quality training content in a high-performance team environment
  • Experience working with a globally distributed team highly desired
