Job Overview

SRE in OneDegree is a global team, our mission is to be a business enabler to accelerate the time to release and provide our customers with a reliable and secure digital journey. We are looking for a passionate, experienced and motivated Site Reliability Engineer who has technical depth and strong interpersonal skills to lead, build, and run fault-tolerant and distributed systems to support our business.

This position will have the opportunity to be involved in the following businesses:

  1. IXT, a B2B insurance core system solution for APAC insurance markets.
  2. OneDegree HK, a B2C/B2B digital insurance platform for HK markets
  3. Cymetrics, a B2B cybersecurity platform for APAC small-and-medium enterprise markets.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and continuously improve the system’s reliability, availability, scalability, performance, and security through building the monitoring metrics and alerting on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to build the CI/CD pipeline and the environment. Facilitate the release process by automation.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and issue-fixing.
  • Define and track metrics to monitor and improve reliability.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge in monitoring solutions (ex. Azure Monitor, ELK), alerting, auto-log interpretation, and ticketing system management.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in cloud technologies (ex. Azure, AWS)
  • Strong knowledge of network topics, especially the security aspect.
  • Experience in implementing CI/CD (ex. Gitlab CI)
  • Experience with automation platforms like pa and Terraform
  • Experience with containers ex. Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication skills and a sense of drive

Interview Process

  • HR phone interview
  • 1st Interview: 1.5~2 hours, 1 hour meet with hiring team + 0.5 hours with HR
  • 2nd Interview: 0.5~1 hour, meet with CTO

      Compensation commensurate with experience.

      我們期望透過 IXT,協助產業優化營運效率,從保險產品的源頭到結尾,利用模組化功能協助企業在開始的保險產品配置及設定、核保自動化,到保單週期管理與理賠,另外,也能協助保險行銷活動管理。

      CaaS Platform: Cymetrics

      OneDegree 身為金融科技公司,是格外重視資訊安全佈局的,在資安議題日益關注的現況,我們觀察到市場對於資訊安全的需求,因此推出了資安即服務(Cybersecurity as a Service)平台,協助企業評估資安風險,提升資安曝險的可視性並以更敏捷及彈性化的方式管理資安風險。同時也經營著 Cymetrics Tech Blog,分享資訊安全與技術開發相關內容。
