【Job Overview】

As an integral part of IT development team, the system integration engineer will play a pivotal role in propelling SHL’s operations to new heights. We are seeking a systems integration engineer to join the IT development team, contributing to the enhancement of SHL’s ERP operations. The role involves utilizing both on-premise and cloud-based integration platforms to implement a diverse set of integration solutions among a multitude of internal and external systems, contributing to the seamless connectivity and optimization of SHL’s IT landscape.

【Responsibilities】

• Work closely with stakeholders to define and deliver system integration solutions.

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve system integration scenarios utilizing on-premise and cloud-based integration platforms.

• Fostering a culture of collaboration and effective communication within an agile and flexible development team, emphasizing collaborative problem-solving.

• Stay abreast of emerging system integration technologies, such as selected integration platform and state-of-the-art system integration architecture.

• Create comprehensive documentation for developed solutions and share knowledge with team members to facilitate effective collaboration and skill development.

• Adhere to SHL’s security and privacy policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.

【Qualifications】

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information management, or other related fields.

2. Experience with developing, integrating, and maintaining of software solutions using RESTful or SOAP APIs for seamless communication among different systems.

3. Proficient in integration technologies including but not limited to RESTful APIs, SOAP, SAP IDOC/RFC… etc.

4. Fluent in any of the following programming languages: Java, Python, C#, Groovy Script, Dataverse, or DataWeave.

5. Familiar with web development technologies including but not limited to: HTML5, JavaScript, Frontend Framework, Node.js… etc.

6. Excellent in technical communications, brilliant in team-work environments, and comfortable working in cross-cultural environments.

7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

8. Fluent in English for effective business communication.

【Preferred Qualifications】

1. Experience working with cloud-based integration platforms such as SAP Integration Suite, Mulesoft Anypoint, Microsoft Integration Services… etc.

2. Experience in SAP BAS (Business Application Studio).

3. Expertise in either front-end development or back-end system development.

4. Skilled in containerization technologies and DevOps practices.
