Soundwave Hearing is an American medical device company based in Chicago, Illinois that develops hearing aids and hearing health apps that allow anyone to monitor their hearing health and customize their hearing aids at home using a smartphone or tablet app. 

Hearing loss is the 3rd most common health problem in the United States and we strongly believe our technology increases the access to high quality hearing healthcare at an affordable price.

Hearing Aids

Soundwave Hearing has developed and released a Bluetooth-enabled 16-channel hearing aid designed for the emerging over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aid market in the United States. Our hearing aid works with the otoTune mobile app currently available in the Apple App Store and Google Play store. The otoTune app allows our hearing aid users to optimize and program their hearing aids using an AI-driven hearing test. Users can then adjust an array of other settings using the app, as well as receive support for their devices and hearing health from a professional hearing coach.

Hearing Testing

We have also developed a comprehensive hearing testing system called otoTune Assistant. otoTune Assistant is a tablet-based app that works with a pair of noise-isolating headphones which can administer a hearing test for both ears in under 3 minutes. The hearing test results are easily interpretable and the system is suitable to provide hearing screenings in a public setting such as at a kiosk. otoTune Assistant is also designed to screen a large group of people such as a group of students or company employees and then compile the results for easy processing.
