Design, develop and maintain AMI BIOS FW. Develop or porting BIOS features to new Intel/AMD platforms. Handle projects and communicate closely with other function teams. Write, integrate and maintain common specifications for BIOS teams. Validate functions from R&D point of view for features.

Circuit board design to full fill each customized or prototyping products; board layout review with full responsibility to guarantee circuit with full functional operation after manufacturing. The whole development period that have to align with internal PMs requirement. Travel, co-operation, technical communication with outside customers, ODMs, OEMs and internal PMs, FWs, EMS is necessary. Be realized what functionalities which required from customers and risks assessment before design kick-off

1. Hardware system block diagram and board schematic design. 2. Define and check layout placement and rule. 3. Hardware platform debugging, investigation, maintenance, alternative components survey , and failure analysis. 4. Support PM/ME/SW/FW/CE/SV/TE/QA/Marketing/Sales/Customer maintenance and documentation created for all projects needed.

Deeply study of SSD/UFS product requirement, SoC design documents, FW design documents, JEDEC spec and NAND behavior and characterization spec, then define the test strategy, develop the test plans for full coverage. 2. Define the SSD/UFS drive level qualification plan targeting for OEM market and requirement 3. Focus on SSD/UFS stability, manufacturing test, RDT, compatibility and benchmark test, covering JEDEC219 endurance test, RDT, environment test, different platform and OS

UFS FW: 1. Protocol firmware design & development with UFS project. 2. Troubleshooting SSD FW: 1. Firmware design for FTL, such as performance/latency optimization, SPOR handling. 2. Firmware FTL modulation design for code optimization. 3. Firmware design for wide range of products from Low End, Low Cost to High End, High Performance. 4. Work with product development and marketing groups to gather requirements and understand the application and usage
