I am currently the onsite caretaker of a one hundred and fifty acre , historical family estate in Co.Cork. My position,duties and responsibilities are numerous and span many disciplines which include general maintenance ,tree care ,walled kitchen garden and lawn care,recieving guests, car maintenance and driving duties ,security detail, machine and tool maintenance&service,overseeing all works on site while liaising with family abroad, boat maintenance, storm wall repairs, crafting and repairing garden furniture etc. As the incumbent couple we take care of the elderly owners every wish on a 24hr live in basis with one of us on site at all times available and responsive to any situation that may arise at any time night or day.We regularly cook and cater for the food requirements of the principal, much of which I grow myself .We have a wonderful friendship and working relationship with the principal and her family.

I lived and worked onsite as caretaker with my wife as the incumbent couple for a large privately owned estate farm and gardens. My Duties included overseeing the daily estate operations ,liaising with owners family abroad and protecting the sole inhabitant,their elderly mother.Other duties included overseeing the renovation of listed farmhouses,daytime security detail and night time security with trained dogs. Protection of wildlife and forest management were also key points whitin in my remit.

Managed all aspects of the daily running of two busy retail outlets specialising in wine beers and spirits.Duties included managing two teams of staff daily in a target driven sales environment.I was personally responsible for all ordering ,marketing and point of sale.Back office duties included book keeping ,banking ,retail software analysis and remote security monitoring etc. I am a customer care and sales training specialist . I far exceeded expected targets in all areas of the business and took the said businesses to new heights during the global recession.I hold an advanced level certificate from WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) .The outlets won numerous awards during my time there.
