I was a part of the Scrum Team supporting mainly SAP PM module. We were securing stable work of the productive system, implementation of new business demands via enhancements, reports and interfaces. There was also an interesting task of transitioning from SAP ECC to SAP S/4 HANA that included deep review of existing custom developments starting from DDIC objects and ending with enhancements. The main area was SAP PM.

I happily re-joined the team of SAP Document Compliance developers to support improvements and incident handling. During this time I have improved my initial version of the Health Check report and implemented solution to timely update SSL root certificates for available tenants. I was also doing back-end developments, ensuring their quality with automated testing. Main areas were SAP FI, SD and CPI.

This was an intensive project of data migration for local sites of the Client. I worked closely with Data Provisioning Team and business users. I utilized not only my great ABAP development skills to adjust migration objects, but also deep knowledge of MS Excel. Main areas were SAP MM, CO, SD.

With a new assignment to a team supporting Roche with innovative transformations, I had a chance to work closely with many interesting topics primarily connected to SAP BW. I created several applications on SAP UI5 and Fiori as well as implemented lots of interfaces to broad list of systems and services. I think, it is important to highlight some of developments that are heavily used in the company: - Communication with a third party system, using NTLM security protocol - Implementation of connection with Google Sheets using OAuth2.0 to read/write/create documents - Functionality to work with MS Excel files read/write/compose using open XML Main area was SAP BW

It was a challenge to lead the project of SAP Document Compliance implementation for the Client as there were some specific limitations and the Client did not want to implement a whole standard solution. I had to lead discussions with different teams to align requirements with possibilities. In addition, I was the main ABAP Developer for this project. We successfully managed to implement required functionality. Main areas were SAP FI and SD.

After proving my skills were valuable to the team of SAP Document Compliance development team, I was offered to continue collaboration. I had a chance to work on improvements of existing functionality as well as developing solutions for such countries as Belgium and the Netherlands. Additionally, I was involved into improvements of the cloud part, insuring security and availability of the service. Also a part of my job was to handle customer incidents and release of new corrections via SAP OSS Notes. I have created a first version of the Health Check report that was checking cloud services for their availability and functionality. Main areas were SAP Fi, SD, AIF and CPI

I was invited to join remotely the team to implement a greenfield project, adjusting standard functionality to the needs of the Customer. There was a specified and predefined list of demands as well as technical specifications for new reports, enhancements and PDF forms. The main area was SAP PM module.

After building a great connections with colleagues from ABB on my previous engagement I started another project to improve and support my Client. During this project I provided my services in the scope of SAP UI5 applications as well as development of new reports and APIs. There were many smaller and bigger requirements with continuation of a complex and important topic of assessment forms.

This was a very interesting project to implement SAP Document Compliance functionality. Partially it was a great opportunity to learn new tools and technologies, such as SAP CPI, SAP AIF and dynamic processing of PDF forms, partially it was amazing to see the way SAP implements a similar functionality to one I used to work with on my projects with SNI. Additionally it was a great opportunity to collaborate with highly motivated people and colleagues from SAP. That was the first project I worked with the Scrum methodology, learning to improve transparency and collaboration within the team. Main areas on the project were SAP FI, SD and AIF as well as lots of developments using SAP CPI.

I was a part of the team responsible for development and support for SAP MM, QM and SD. I also participated in an interesting task to measure efficiency of SAP UI5 applications from different geographical locations and their improvements.

This was my first project located in Poland as we with my family moved there. I really enjoyed working there as the team consisted of professionals and we were shaping several HR processes which included creation of assessment forms with heavy use of dynamic programming and complex interactive PDF forms. Additionally, I was involved into process of authorizations improvement and transparency. Main areas were SAP HR-OM, HR-PM and HR-TM.

The project was around SAP HR-PY and HR-TM modules as well as integration with SAP FI via APIs for the Customer OEK (oek.spb.ru). Some of tasks accomplished: - Enhancement for posting runs - Average salary report (CIS) - Bank transfers report (HCM) - Advance payments report with payroll slip simulation - Payments report with 0015 infotype recording + Enhancement for separate payment run report

It was a project we I had to use a lot of my previous experience in regards to authorizations, roles and profiles. The main area was SAP HCM module and, apart from complex authorization profiles I was in charge for: - Create custom WebDynpro applications for HR-Performance Management (or OSA Objective Settings and Appraisals) module - Implement WorkFlow for HR-PM module - Implement enhancements for Appraisal Documents - Create reports for HR-PM module - Create repository objects to provide customer logic and layouts for HR-PM - Create MS Excel and MS Word forms for Appraisal Documents using XSLT - Upload master data using LSMW - Create custom HR Infotypes - Create custom HR Features

Having a good record from the first project for Sandoz with their SHAPE Algeria project, I was nominated to SHAPE Poland project with similar tasks.

This project was one of my favorite ones because it was very close to the standard functionality and all business requirements were effectively adjusted to the standard features. Still I had lots of opportunities to work deeply with HR-OM, HR-PY, HR-TM, work with integration with SAP FI, develop forms using SmartForms as well as Adobe forms. Also in the scope of the project was ESS/MSS, a lot of enhancements and custom reports.

It was an intensive project to support SHAPE Algeria project. Main areas were SAP FI, CO, MM and SD. I was developing new PDF Forms, custom reports, enhancements and APIs.

It was my first international project in a foreign country. We have been supporting Customers with a custom implementation of Electronic Document Exchange that became a mandatory requirement from the government. The scope was to review existing billing documents/invoices and other documents to implement a custom solution that was sending XML documents to respective authorities. Main functional area were SAP FI and SD, whereas technologies: SapScript, SmartForms, PDF forms, enhancements, and API developments.

Due to some good connections and my reputation, I got an offer to join a great team that was supporting different projects around the world. I had tasks for SAP FI, CO, MM, SD, delivering enhancements, custom reports, performance tuning, PDF forms and SmartForms, as well as deep dive into MS Office integration. I had a great opportunity to work with MS Office using not only OLE interface, but also to investigate a technical design of MS documents and implement various tools to work with them using XSLT and other tools available for ABAP developers. There were also some tasks to handle complex reports with Enjoy controls, such as ALV grid and hierarchy view.

It was a short-term contract with a list of specified tasks around SAP HR-PM. I was involved into development of enhancements, WebDynpro applications, PDF forms, DDIC objects, such as tables, data elements with complex search helps, lock objects and so on.

After the successful pre-sale project we had an opportunity to implement the functionality for RFID labels on the Customer's side. Apart from development itself, I participated in business discussions and some decisions. Main goals were achieved with some complications that were addressed in time. The main focus, as with the pre-sale project, was SAP MM functionality.

It was a great opportunity to refresh my skills as a lecturer with real business users eager to learn new things. I prepared materials, conducted the training on the basis of BC407 SAP course.

That was an interesting project to implement highly customized WorkFlow with complex and dynamic conditions. To implement it I had to build a whole cascade of DDIC objects, cluster views and implement sophisticated logic and triggers. It was a challenging project and I am glad I had an opportunity to be a part of this successful project.

There was a dedicated task to implement a custom solution that improves standard SAP MM functionality with RFID terminals managed by custom third party solution. This was a pre-sale project.

Strong connections with colleagues from my previous works encouraged me to join a team to work on variety of SAP HCM projects. As a Development Team Lead I had to ensure the work load, make decisions on new openings and hires. I established transparent standards for custom developments and documentation as well as testing protocols. It was an amazing time to work with the group of highly professional people with high motivation and ambitions. We conducted successful projects, addressing changing needs of the business. As a developer I was responsible for reports, WorkFlows, interfaces, forms, configurations of ESS and MSS. Unfortunately, it was too unfriendly to live in Moscow and that was a reason for me to leave the project.

As a Development Manager I had to conduct not only developments, but also ensure their transparency and code re-use. As a team we were responsible for SAP HCM module, reflecting business requirements into the technical design and test documents. There were lots of new forms, enhancements and new reports requested by the business.

My role was mainly a support one, insuring smooth operations of the business processes. My main responsibilities were tasks around SAP FI and SD. Since the assignment was pretty much boring, I decided to change it to another one.

I started as a junior ABAP developer, gaining my skills and knowledge. I had a chance to be a part of different teams and projects, delivering interesting and valuable developments. For example, I created a handy tool to help users manage mass data processing, I made a whole functionality to optimize a standard report for balance sheet report, that heavily improved time for the business to do their job (boiling down the time from 6+ hrs to about 20-30 minutes). Also I made a localization of SAP standard solution for MTPL Insurance to Russian market. Additionally, I have conducted a complete education course as a trainer for new comers to let them start their professional ABAP career. Due to the nature of IBS Group consulting business I had a chance to work on plenty SAP functional areas, such as FI, CO, MM, SD, QM, HCM, SRM.
