As we grew from a 5-person marketing team in a startup to a 20+ person marketing team in a 300+ person scaling startup, I led growth marketing efforts, then onboarded a specialist to manage our ads and SEO.
SEM - I created a strong baseline of lead generation for several products using Google Ads and Bing Ads accounts. This included everything from account structure & setup to time-bound campaigns and ongoing optimization of Quality Score, budget, targeting and more.
SEO - I led SEO efforts for CData, which despite being a startup, now has a strong, 60+ PageRank and has won category-defining keywords and topics. In fact, organic is the biggest driver of growth in the company.
Paid media - I negotiated and closed media partnerships with industry journals and publications to support our brand marketing campaigns.
Paid social - working closely with our social media manager, I also implemented paid social campaigns to support broader brand marketing efforts.
Marketing Automation - I worked directly with the sales and support teams, creating our demos system and implementing marketing automations not only for outreach, but also for customer onboarding & success, driving higher MAL>MQL (PQL) > SQL conversion.
All growth marketing work was oriented to increase trials, downloads and sales.
