I am Amare Mulatie Dehnaw, born on February 10, 1989. In my academic journey, I obtained a B.Sc. degree from Jimma University in 2012 and an M.Sc. degree from Addis Ababa University in 2015, both in Information Science. Furthermore, I earned a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from National Taipei University of Technology in 2023, specializing in the application of deep learning to fiber optics sensor networks. Amare's areas of research interest encompass fiber sensors, deep learning, data science, optical-wireless networks, and the Internet of Things. Regarding my teaching experience, I possess seven years of full-time teaching experience at Wolkite University in Ethiopia, coupled with two years of part-time teaching at Kiyamed Private College in Addis Ababa. Additionally, I worked for two years as a part-time customer services agent operator at Ethio Telecom Company in Addis Ababa. During my Ph.D. studies, I concurrently served as a part-time English language teacher for two years. I contributed to both public schools under the Taiwan Ministry of Education bilingual program and private schools in Taipei City and New Taipei City, Taiwan. I was honored with multiple certification awards, acknowledging my exceptional service and significant contributions to the program. In terms of leadership, I have taken on pivotal managerial roles, particularly as the Head of the Information Systems Department, committing three years of service. Additionally, I served as the Research and Industry Linkage Coordinator for a one-year period, actively contributing to the smooth integration of research activities with industry connections. In the realm of research and publication, I have made substantial contributions to five peer-reviewed journals, both as an author and co-author, all of which are indexed in SCI. Additionally, I have presented three papers at international conferences. During my Ph.D. studies, I actively engaged in various research projects under the guidance of my supervisor. Following the completion of my Ph.D. studies, I worked as an English language teacher in public and private schools in Taipei and New Taipei City, Taiwan, for the past six months. Currently, I am serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at National Taipei University of Technology in Taipei City, Taiwan.
