Arjealy Wisseh

President and Co-founder @ Landing for Africa
An interior designer and architect, Arjealy Wisseh serves as a lighting designer at One Lux Studio. As a former volunteer architect with the African Diaspora Development Institute, she designed comfortable, uplifting home environments, considering factors such as the sustainability of materials and the environmental impact of her design. Arjealy Wisseh also aimed to include elements of cultural identity and belief into her designs. In addition to her work as a designer, Arjealy Wisseh is the co-founder and president of Landing for Africa, a non-profit organization with plans to create a school to train global business leaders and entrepreneurs. In addition to creating a strategic vision and strategy for the non-profit, she supports plans to raise $800,000 and hire 25 employees. She also owns and operates the e-commerce website Landing for Africa Wear (www.lfauwe.com), which sells apparel that fuses American and African designs. Arjealy Wisseh holds an associate of arts in liberal arts and science from Monroe Community College and a bachelor of fine arts in interior design from the Rochester Institute of Technology. When she is not working, she enjoys hiking, cooking, and painting.
