The mental health information/education sessions are specifically geared toward providing education to parents/caregivers about Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy and the efficacy behind this clinical treatment modality as an evidenced-based clinical method of treatment for children and adolescents who have experienced an identified trauma. In addition, the education sessions serve to grant insight to parents/caregivers pertaining to the bio-psycho-social symptoms that can emerge as a result of sexual abuse/trauma, as well as on the importance of further exploring and/or obtaining trauma focused treatment for children/adolescents who have experienced confirmed or alleged sexual abuse.

Rosemont, Pa My time at PCVS was wonderful as I was able to return to working as an employee at this organization in which I did my 2nd year practical field placement for my Masters degree in social services at Bryn Mawr College I unfortunately had to leave the organization due to having a baby, but it was a great place to gain a broad and comprehensive perspective and advanced professional skills training and knowledge in my field of choice clinical social work.
