• Select, measure, and track important metrics.
• Conduct site visits and observe potential challenges for the construction of the project.
• Perform on-screen takeoff of the construction drawings and compare data with actual site conditions.
• Analyze and evaluate the offers from each subcontractor. 
• Create a detail cost report with estimated time, material, equipment, and crew needed for each specific task.

• Organize sub-contractor quotations, negotiate to insure quotes meet contract scope of works, and issue properly documented purchase orders.

• Formulate cost breakdown from estimates and for project progress.
• Recommend ways to make a product more cost effective or profitable.
