Canice Chukwuocha, MD, has an extensive background in the medical field and has worked as a general nurse for numerous Texas-based firms. In 1996, Canice Chukwuocha, MD, joined the Twelve Oaks Hospital in Houston, where he served as a registered nurse. Alongside being responsible for clinical assessments, he developed comprehensive care plans for patients. He did so in conjunction with the rest of the patient care team. Over the following two decades, Dr. Chukwuocha would hold similar positions with a range of other facilities. Most recently, he did so with the Atwell Home Health Service. Drawing on his medical degree, Canice Chukwuocha, MD, spent time as a medical intern with the Hima San Pablo Hospital. While there, he gained experience in several areas of treatment, including pediatric medicine and emergency medicine. Alongside his MD, which he earned in 2009, Dr. Chukwuocha has a bachelor of science in biological science. He earned the degree magna cum laude from Texas Southern University. He also has three nursing-related associate degrees and has completed several medical-focused programs.
