Constance Faith Horton, Assistant Superintendent in the School District of Philadelphia, previously served as the executive director of a charter school network in New Jersey, as the principal of a charter school in North Philadelphia, and as the CEO of the Fund for Advancement of Minorities Through Education in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She also delivered consulting services focused on youth educational programming and educational equity for families, schools, and nonprofits. Throughout her years of service to the field of education, Constance F. Horton has garnered several accolades, including awards from the City of Pittsburgh, the YWCA, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and the University of Pittsburgh. Constance F. Horton holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh, where she graduated magna cum laude. She also earned a Master’s of Social Work from the institution. In addition, Ms. Horton received her principal certification from the Philadelphia Pathways to Leadership in Urban Schools and superintendent's certification from Temple University. Since 2019, she has been working toward a doctorate in Educational Leadership at Temple University.
