Craig D Hockenberry

Craig Hockenberry is an accomplished educational professional who has more than two decades of experience, during which time he has worked with several school districts, including Manchester Local Schools - Adams County, where he was superintendent from 2013 to 2015. Since then, Craig Hockenberry has held a similar role with the Three Rivers Local School District, where he is responsible for schools totaling 2,400 students. After gaining a master’s degree in education administration, he joined Roosevelt Elementary, where he was a teacher for three years. Following this, he joined Oyler School, a part of the Cincinnati Public Schools system, where he served as principal for 15 years. During this time, Mr. Hockenberry led the school through a turnaround, helping to improve academic performance to the extent that its rating was changed from ‘Academic Emergency’ to ‘Continuous Improvement.’ Alongside his master’s degree, he holds an honorary doctor of humane letters from Mount St. Joseph University. In addition, he has a bachelor of arts from the same institution.
