Daniel Walter Hill, a travel and photography enthusiast For as long as he can remember, Daniel Walter Hill has held a camera in his hand. His first camera, a basic automatic point-and-shoot, was given to him by his grandfather. His family was happy and willing to pose for him, striking candid poses, posing for birthday photographs, and striking every imaginable posture! The encouragement of NAME's family encouraged his interest in photography. Visits to East Coast National Parks Summers in the Hill house meant planning trips to East Coast national parks. Dan will remember these vacations because they not only brought the family closer together, but also ingrained in him a love of wildlife photography. Mr. Hill remembers these family vacations fondly, from Acadia to Biscayne. Photographing the Atlantic coast from Acadia National Park to the mangroves of Biscayne National Park and the wetlands of Everglades National Park has undoubtedly changed Daniel Walter Hill's life. Currently, the West Coast is in a state of flux. In line with tradition, Daniel Walter Hill has taken it upon himself to present his children with the same experiences he experienced as a youngster. He wants his children to share his love of nature, so trips to national parks have become a family tradition in his household. This time, though, their travels would take them to national parks on the West Coast. Yosemite National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Redwood National Park, and the Grand Canyon National Park have all been visited by his family. This summer, they're planning a trip to the Florida panhandle. On his blog, Daniel talks about his childhood travels to national parks as well as holidays he's taken with his own family.
