Davia Ward is the founder and CEO of Healthcare Partners Consulting & Billing. She has over 25 years of experience in the medical world. She seeks to develop innovative medical billing systems and practice management so physicians can focus more of their already-limited time on their patients. She established her company to alleviate some of this stress. The company's goal is to provide healthcare professionals take their practices to the next level. Davia began her career as a file clerk for a local hospital. She worked there for several years and worked her way up through the organization before deciding to pursue her nursing degree. After completing her degree, she returned to the same hospital where she began her career. It was during her time as a nurse that Davia Ward began to realize how stressful medical billing was for patients and doctors alike. Patients worried so much about how they would pay their bills that they didn't focus all the energy they could on getting better. Billing was also a burden on hospital staff, and took away from the time and energy that they could spend with their patients. Davia realized that the system was broken, and the idea for HPC Billing was born. In her spare time, Davia enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering her time and skills with a non-profit.
