A personal injury attorney with a background in neurological surgery, David H. Segal, MD, studied medicine at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn. David H. Segal, MD, received the Sandoz Award for Clinical Excellence before graduating summa cum laude in 1991. Following graduation, he went on to complete a residency at the Mount Sinai Medical Center. From 1996 to 1997, he served as chief resident of neurosurgery and also received the Neurosurgery Resident Research award. From 2009 to 2016, Dr. Segal owned and operated Eastern Iowa Brain and Spine Surgery, a solo practice in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. There, he performed minimally invasive spine surgery to treat diseases of the spine and brain. In 2016, Dr. Segal enrolled in the University of Iowa College of Law. He worked as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Judge CJ Williams in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Iowa, and he graduated with distinction from law school in 2019. Upon earning his juris doctor, he took on the position of an attorney at Lerner and Rowe Injury Attorneys in Las Vegas, where he assists with plaintiff personal injury cases.
