A physician with diverse training and professional experience, Dr. Rachel Ash-Bernal works in internal medicine and critical care as well as cardiology. She is board certified in Cardiology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Rachel Ash-Bernal has completed fellowships in heart failure and cardiac transplant, cardiovascular disease, advanced cardiac imaging, and integrative medicine. Since 2020, Dr. Ash-Bernal has worked as a Locum Tenens cardiologist working at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia and Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Dr. Ash-Bernal has also provided internal medicine and critical care in Paducah, Kentucky’s Lourdes Hospital since 2019. She has worked extensively in rural hospitals in Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Missouri. Dr. Ash-Bernal holds membership in several professional associations including the American Society of Echocardiography and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. She is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. and the American College of Cardiology.
