Long-term assignment with growing responsibilities supporting the HMI engineering group and design of turbine Distributed Control Systems. Requirements include coordinating with the team of engineers to design both Hardware and Software configuration. These projects include both domestic and international customers as well as Remote Engineering and field support. Position tools include AutoCAD, embedded C++, ABB Symphony Plus, and Composer along with circuitry and hardware Responsibilities: • Development of project drawings consisting of system BOMs, cabinet layouts, power distribution, external I/O connections, and network architecture drawings. • Development Of ABB Symphony plus system configuration for both Combustion and Steam Turbine applications • Configuration of Steam/Combustion turbine automation logic in Composer. • Assisting Field support on customer issues on startup. • Process and Review work packages going to and from Remote Engineering Facilities Accomplishments: • Developed HMI standards now implemented in power plants across the USA • Served as a local HMI systems configuration expert
