A McAllen, Texas physician, Eugenio Galindo, MD, has helped patients with cancer since 1994 at his first position at the South Texas Cancer Center, also in McAllen. As a researcher and physician, Dr. Eugenio Galindo has always been committed to delivering patient-centered care. Since working at Texas Oncology Dr. Galindo has continued to work in research and clinical trials. He opened his practice, McAllen Oncology in 2000 providing cancer care to all; including the indigent and uninsured. Dr. Galindo partnered with Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance to open the Valley's first Cancer Care Center aiming to provide patient care to all Valley residents. Dr. Galindo is committed to provide the best in patient personalized care. Patients under his care get treated as if they were family members. He takes time to listen and pray with them as they go through cancer treatment. Many of his patients come from underserved communities, and he believes in giving his patients the best treatment, regardless of their socioeconomic status. Outside of working with patients, Dr. Galindo has also worked tirelessly to bring accredited cancer care programs to the South Texas area. He also has invited cancer experts to the area to share their expertise on innovations in treatment and research.
