I am Hector Mendoza. I am an Industrial Engineer based in Taiwan with experience in Operation and Maintenance (O&M), Project Management, and Supply Chain in Production Plants.
My expertise lies in the implementation and management of Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP), the effective planning, scheduling, and resource allocation of Operation activities, production demand planning, and Suppliers management. In previous roles, I’ve led the optimization of inventory and procurement processes by leveraging digital tools and software, delivering demonstrable projects and performance improvements.
Throughout my career, I have worked in cross-functional and cross-cultural environments in Latin America, Vietnam, and Taiwan.
I recently graduated with an MBA degree from Tsing Hua University (清華大學) with a focus on technology management and I am seeking to deploy my skills and experience in the Operation and Supply Chain Management of Production Plants and Business Consultancy.

工作經驗
Associate Campus Director
-Led a marketing campaign through social media, email, Public relations, and Off-line Promo of the International Hult Prize competition exceeding the expected registration of 100 participants.
-Planned and managed 8 events lectured by Taiwanese leading professionals for the training of participating students in topics related to entrepreneurship. Free entrance for participants and funds obtained by the negotiation of sponsorship from university authorities.
Business Intelligence Consultant
Responsible for leading a project in the lean manufacturing team of the Nike Shoes Factory in Vietnam. My achievements included:
-Optimized the Production KPI system by implementing Power BI to analyze the production data to identify production issues and improve performance.
-Provided insights about the performance of the Nike Shoes Factory and presented through data storytelling to stakeholders from Taiwan, Vietnam, and the U.S.
Planning and Project Manager
Responsible for the planning of the Operation, Maintenance, and Project Management of power plants (Fuel Oil and Windfarm) in Nicaragua. My achievements included:
-Improved the business processes of Inventory, Procurement, and Operations by implementing and rollout an ERP system. As a result, the inventory and lead times were reduced by 20% and the production KPIs reached 100% of the set goal.
-Kept good relations with international key equipment manufacturers suppliers for better prices of equipment components.
-Delivered projects that optimized the production efficiency by 7%. by managing the resources and engaging internal and external stakeholders to collaborate with the projects.
-Planned and tracked project progress with clear objectives, deliverables, improvement plan, and benefits to the business.
Inventory Manager
Responsible for the warehousing and inventory optimization of 16,000+ equipment components of a power plant. My role included:
-Managed an inventory with an average value of US$10 million achieving customer service above 95% and a proper writing-off of obsolete and damaged items.
-Defined inventory buffer targets based on historical usage, production planning, and scheduled power plant maintenance.
