People manager role to lead a team of 6 people. Team’s scope mainly focuses on the assembly NPI project. Monitor and drive the entire project execution and remove the roadblocks. Drive and monitor the process cycle time performance with the OSATs to meet Micron's expectations. The team owns productivity projects and works with different stakeholders on the automation solution for daily operations.

Play multiple roles in the organization; coordination and OSAT management. Led multiple test development projects in parallel across 5 geographical locations (Taiwan, Philippines, Norway, Finland, and England) and worked with more than 10 ATE test engineers and the R&D team. Completed 4 workflow deployments for standardization within a year, improved efficiency of the team.

NPI leader in Taiwan deployed ~2 NPIs per year on time. Coach the junior engineer for engineering & analytical skills. Guide the OSAT engineers to follow the procedure for handling our products. Engage with new OSAT to build HVM (High Volume Manufacturing) capability within 6 months. Led & coordinated cross-functional teams (e.g., IT for data integrity/transfer, Planner for logistics, Product Test engineering team for engineering matters, etc.…). Demonstrated strong leadership skills to drive & guide OSAT to meet the company’s HVM requirements. ~3 products’ owner for ATE wafer sort and final test distributed at 2 main OSATs. Led MRB (Material Review Board) discussion weekly, sustaining activity such as product hold lot disposition on time to meet delivery (~25 lots per day). Collaboration with OSATs, vendors, and internal teams for engineering matters. Led cross-department investigation for the FT (Final test) electrical open/short problem, involved OSAT, vendor, FA lab, and assembly house. The project schedule is secured with effective troubleshooting steps led by me to avoid the failure of the product deployment.

OSAT test engineering & operation management for 3 main OSATs. Engage the new OSAT in Mainland China and build a new product line for the Tier 1 customer’s device. NPI project management (~3 NPIs per year) & collaboration with a US product test team for Tier 1 customer’s device. Led and deployed the Optimal Plus solution at OSAT on time.

▪ OSAT test engineering & operation management for 3 main OSATs. ▪ Focal contact point for OSATs, communication & integration work became much more effective. ▪ Acted as the first line fire fighter to help the team identify & isolate the problem whenever there’s a production issue happening at OSATs. ▪ No major excursions happened under my supervision.

▪ Site resident at OSAT. Managing ATE engineering and operational aspects. ▪ Focal contact point for OSAT, demonstrated effective communication skills in English to lead the engineering discussion between OSAT & Freescale team in U.S Chandler. ▪ Manage NPI project (~2 NPIs) from early phase till HVM (High Volume Manufacturing) on-time. ▪ No major excursions happened under my supervision.

▪ Led a team of 6 engineers for new ATE equipment installation at a customer factory. Over ~200 testers were installed in 2 years gradually and 95% of the installation was on-time. ▪ Executed the ATE retrofit/upgrade plan in urgent scenario, 95% on-time. ▪ Delivered more than 10 official training courses at customer sites in Taiwan & overseas with customized training materials provided. ▪ Invented a smart examination method without disassembling the entire test head to identify the flawed material being used in the test head for ~200 testers at a customer factory. Each tester saved 7 hours for examinations. A total of 1400 working hours are saved for just examinations. This saves a lot of engineer resources and reduces the impact on customer production line significantly.

▪ NPI activities bring up from the engineering phase and launch to HVM. ▪ Handling low yield, test program debug & other engineering activities. ▪ Focal contact with customers located in Asia and North America, managed ~6 customer accounts with high volume runs.
