Hey, I am Melu (HSIN LUN WU) and I do sustainable design. Melu is a creative, multi-disciplinary, and circular sustainable designer based in the UK. Her works focus on the exploration of the environment, materials, design processes, and stories behind, with her sensitive observation, the results are usually innovative and various. Her works range cover objects, daily-life products, furniture, space, and food system. After graduating with an MSc in Integrated Product Design from Brunel University in 2020 , she build the London-based, H.E.D circular design Lab. Melu now works as an independent designer, curator, and waste life cycle planner. By Hold Everything Dear, H.E.D lab integrated circular economy values into everyday life. Responding to the excessive and fast consumption trend of natural resources and the overconsumption lead to massive waste generation. H.E.D lab produces integrated products which focus on our daily life from refined and recombined recycled material as well as establish innovative services ranging from collection to processing the recycled waste, in order to rethink the balance with nature and Hold Everything Dear in different ways.
