• Track the cost and BOM changes of assigned products from concept stage to sustaining.
• Collaborate closely with cross functional team such as buyer, engineer, system, BOM and business team to identify any cost opportunity and uncover risk to potential product cost at mass production.
• Cost investigation across multiple projects to identify the cost variance from major design change or different vendors.
• Reconcile cost or BOM discrepancy with CM Contract Manufacturer in order to generate accurate quarterly PO for sustaining projects within time constraint, and minimize the effort of PPV process due to cost delta.
• Work closely with business team to negotiate with CM and successfully reduce CM managed part cost by 20%.
