Intelligent product development design and 3D printing class In 2015, I was involved in a motorcycle accident where a car suddenly opened its door causing damage to my right arm and thigh nerves. I underwent rehabilitation until August 2016 when I regained normal mobility. As a result, I had a professional gap in the past year. During this time, I enrolled in the "Intelligent Product Development Design and 3D Printing Class" at Feng Chia University. The course content included freehand drawing of engineering drawings, computer-aided design (using AutoCAD), 2D and 3D modeling (using AutoCAD and Solidworks), and 3D printing (using Meshmixer, 123D, Tinkercad, and Cura). The final project of the course was to design a product concept for anti-shake photography, starting from product design discussions, freehand design concepts, 2D computer-aided design, 3D modeling, and finally 3D printing sample testing. Through the course, I gained practical 3D printing experience, which enabled me to troubleshoot printing issues and repair Delta printers.

The Human Factor Assessment for a Portable Luggage 2007 APIEMS and CIIE Conference Abstract: This research purpose is to discuss the differences of physiological load influenced by the length of retractable handle and the mass-center position of contents placing in a rolling luggage. There are 13 university students to participate in this research experiment. The experimental hypothesis is proposed that the lowest physiological load is happened when the mass center is just placed upon the luggage-wheel axle. The experiment is carried on at 3 kph walking speed with towing 7 kg-weight luggage on the treadmill, and the experiment factors are the length of luggage handle (75cm, 85cm and 95cm) with the ratio of mass center and luggage height (16.67%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 83.33%), then through several different factor combinations, the muscular voltage values of the Back M. Trapezius, M. Biceps Brachii, M. Flexor Carpi Ulnaris, and M. Barchioradialis are measured by the Electromyography (EMG, BIOPAC Systems MP150). Finally, the results demonstrate that the muscular voltage value of shorter handle is higher than the longer one, and the research also suggests that choosing a luggage should depend on the gait [4, 7], the stature, and the knuckle high to adjust a suitable handle length, moreover selecting a luggage which the partition can be adjusted, in order to reduce the physiological load.
