Jacob Farkas' use of color, texture and shape often evokes an imagery of architectural and urban motifs. By combining and layering various mediums, he brings about a sense of history and discovery through his process oriented technique. While not limiting himself to the urban references, he draws upon his travels to expose other imagery in his work. One can also find a sense of primitive influence in his mark making.
