Jeff Iwanicki - High School Technology and Engineering Teacher
A Milford, Connecticut-based educator with 15 years of experience, Jeff Iwanicki received a bachelor of science in industrial technology and master of education and engineering and technology education from Central Connecticut State University. He began his career as a middle school engineering and technology teacher with Fairfield Public Schools (FPS) in 2008, and has taught high school courses since 2012. Jeff Iwanicki was also the technology and engineering department head at FPS from 2015 to 2017, during which time he oversaw curriculum and professional development as well as budgets and grants across five schools.
Jeff Iwanicki has held membership with professional groups such as the Connecticut Technology & Engineering Education Association and the Specialty Graphics Imaging Association. He has completed multiple American Graphics Institute courses as well as the James Madison University Cyber Defense Bootcamp for Educators and Adobe Graphic Design Bootcamp.
Passionate about giving back to his local community and supporting important causes, Mr. Iwanicki has raised thousands of dollars for the Norma Pfriem Breast Care Center, Junior Women's Club of Milford, Toby's Dream Rescue, and the Wounded Warrior Project, among other organizations.
