Originally from Richmond, VA, I moved to Los Angeles 10 years ago. Growing up I was always an adventurous kid and I stayed well rounded in a variety of extracurricular activities. I have a very competitive personality and I was involved in sports year-round. I was always seeking my "What's next?" Here in Los Angeles, I have found a cozy niche for myself in the optical industry, and now I am looking for what's next. I am seeking something that will help me grow as a person and a professional. I am a hard worker and I always strive to put my best foot forward. I have found that I have accomplished everything that I want to in my current position, and I need something that can push me both forward and up. my primary task was to be the liaison between LensCrafters and Eyexam of CA. Working closely with the Doctor to ensure that the flow of the office stayed smooth and efficient. My job was focused on booking and confirming exams, patient intake, and patient assessments prior to seeing the Doctor, as well as handling many of the office-oriented tasks throughout the day so the Doctor would be free to see patients. Such as checking insurances, seeing to customer issues, and checking in contact lenses when they arrive.

As our business model transitioned, I took on a larger role within the LensCrafters side of our business and added more to my responsibilities. Along with adding responsibilities for opening/closing procedures, I also took a larger role coaching and training new associates and having a leadership role on both sides of the business where I led the store in overall sales, contact lens sales, number of customers seen, as well as a highest average dollar amount per customer.
