Drawing on extensive leadership and sales experience, Jon Velasco of Tempe, Arizona, focuses on sales and customer retention as a Sr. Reputation Advisor for the online reputation management company ReputationDefender. His work involves maintaining the lifetime value of accounts and facilitating content development to help promote and protect clients' online reputation, among other tasks. Responsible for a pipeline of 400 to 450 accounts, he also provides software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions and management. In 2019, he joined ReputationDefender and achieved 118 percent of quota in the third quarter during his first year there, which was the highest percentage among the reputation advisor team.

Mr. Velasco comes to this role with a history of success in sales. In a prior position as an account manager at Life Time, Inc., he ranked among the company’s top 100 in sales performance for three consecutive months and among the top seven for sales in the Arizona region in the third and fourth quarter. Previously, he served as an inside sales specialist at the Harley-Davidson Motor Company, where he formulated profit-maximizing strategies for workshops and in-house events and engaged in activities to boost sales and profits. He earned recognition as a top sales representative and exceeded first- and second-quarter revenue by an average of 109 percent. Earlier in his career, Mr. Velasco completed an internship at VM Stoneworks LLC in Mesa, Arizona, as an outbound sales representative and regularly exceeded 100 percent of quota during his three years there.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Velasco has participated in philanthropic work in his community. He serves as the philanthropy chair of Alpha Kappa Lambda at Arizona State University, where he is pursuing a bachelor of arts in communications and media studies. Furthermore, he received a Humanitarian Award for completing over 400 hours of community-service.
