Based in New York City, Joshua Markovics’ work is both prolific and mesmerizing. Specializing in nature, travel and fashion portraits, Joshua has a unique ability to capture the souls of both humans’ animals. His social feed is a visual feast that will both brighten and inspire your day, including his spellbinding stories. His images celebrate the spectacular scenes in nature that take our breath away, and his mission is to capture those moments in such a way that viewers will be inspired to explore further. Growing up in New Rochelle, Joshua pursued and explored photography more formally during the summer before his senior year of high school. After attending a Tech Photography School in the summer of 1983, he became one of the Annual Staff Photographers for his high school, shooting everything from sports action to portraits and candid shots. Joshua Markovics enjoyed his exploration into the world of photography during his last year of high school and decided to further pursue it. He attended New York University from where he received his BFA Degree.
