Transactional Data Clean Up Project
Worked on a transactional data clean up exercise whereby our Supply Chain Operations Department embarked on cleansing Transactional Data dating back from 01 January 1999 until 30 September 2008.Weekly meetings held to provide feedback on the progress made; a monitoring tool was used to illustrate the progress made by the Project Team. Made significant progress in the Corporate Procurement and Supply Chain Management and was approached to work on the large Data clean-up project led by the General Manager of Finance however I was committed to other projects such as the development of the curriculum for the Inventory, Warehouse and Haulage Back to Basics Project.
The purpose of the above-mentioned exercise was to prepare Eskom for SAP re-implementation to be rolled out by 01 October 2011 which streamlined the SAP functionality within Eskom. Management of the National Transport Contract (32 Ton and below contract)
Management of a Rotran national contract worth One Billion Rands, Primary objectives were to compile a comprehensive monthly report which was disseminated to the various Divisional users of the National Contract, - mediated between Rotran and Eskom in terms of resolving queries, improved stakeholder management by means of holding monthly meetings and implementing improvement measures. Establishment and conclusion of an Abnormal Loads Contract (above 80 tons)
conducted an Internal and External analysis for the establishment of the abnormal loads contract for duration of a year. The Mandate was approved by the Tender Committee members to conclude an abnormal loads transport contract. The contract has been finalised as a General Services Contract. Development of the curriculum for the Inventory, Warehouse and Haulage (IWH) Training
Conducted workshops to develop the content for IWH training to be rolled out in July 2011 as part of the to-be training which will be rolled out in July. The workshops were deemed successful by the Commodity Logistics Manager. The content is developed in conjunction with a Process Control Manual for Inventory Warehouse and Haulage. SCOPS Work Plan Project The objective of the Project was to ensure that the Supply Chain Operations mandate is achieved. The primary tasks encompassed the initial development of the Project’s scope. A project charter coupled with a SCOPS weekly feedback template was developed so that each Track Lead could submit their weekly feedback to the General Manager of Eskom Supply Chain Operations for tele-conference discussions. I program managed the project. The desired outcome was to be a sought after world class Supply Chain partner by integrating customer demand and market supply of material: thereby ensuring availability through safe and optimised processes and systems in support of Eskom’s vision.
