Altek Semiconductor is a solution provider of image processing for cameras, cellphones, medical and automobile electronics. I got experiences in image tuning, algorithm design, and performance optimization. Following were my contributions during this period. 1. Camera image quality tuning: ．Vignetting and color shading tuning. ．Built up tunning tools to reduce human error and time cost in the tuning process. 2. Zig-zag-patterned raw image interpolation algorithm improvement: ．Mitigated motion artifact. ．Cost reduction: reduced 30% chip area and maintained the output image quality. 3. Color shading algorithm improvement: ．Mitigated color halo and fading. ．Cost reduction/performance improvement in aspect of algorithm. 4. Multi-exposure control for HDR algorithm design: ．Started from scratch. ．Dedicated to the new HDR algorithm of Altek. 5.
