您好，我是郭品婕
畢業於國立臺北科技大學工業設計系創新設計碩士班，研究所期間加入了黃子坤教授的通用設計與使用者介面設計研究室，除了修習設計思考以及介面設計相關課程外，也積極參與設計比賽、人機介面工作坊以及UI UX 相關講座。
在學期間最重要的收穫就是如何深入思考問題，「當問題看得夠深，就能找到最合適的解決之道，提出最佳設計」，這是黃教授帶領我們做出好設計的精髓，我在進行設計時也始終記得。

除此之外，在碩二暑假也經同學介紹接手了電子系的 UI 設計工讀，除了協助流暢叫車 APP 的使用流程及介面，也參與了APP的新功能開發與介面設計，以及後期開發的line功能介面、平面設計，同時進行宣傳介紹影片的製作，對於影片剪輯更加上手，在這工讀的一年內增進了UI /UX 設計流程的了解與經驗。

隨後至茂傑國際股份有限公司擔任 UI UX 設計師一職，過去一年內負責了一個APP的完整UI, UX設計、設定網頁的介面流程優化專案、多個產品使用引導頁面設計以及影片製作。同時在工作之餘，亦完成了自己的碩士論文並取得碩士學位，以及發表兩篇國際研討會小論。
由以上經驗中除了對於設計更加精進外，更學習到如何與工程師有效溝通以及如何明確表達設計思考，並期許未來能接觸更多軟體介面設計與使用者研究，並能與公司團隊合作互相腦力激盪，一同提出更深層、更完善的設計。

Hello, I’m PJ Kuo.

I obtained my Master’s degree of Industrial Design in National Taipei University of Technology. During these years at NTUT, I joined the Universal Design Lab of  my thesis advisor,  professor T.K Philip, Hwang. 
Besides school courses of design thinking and HCI, I proactively participated in varouis design competitions, HCI workshops, and UI UX lectures or conferences. Meanwhile, with the guidance from my advisor, I published three papers as a co-author and presenter in HCI  international conference 2018 and AHFE international conference 2020.
With these experiences, I learned how to make good designs as I learned from my advisor, “a good solution and design come out of a deeply explored problem."

In addition, I was introduced to work as one of the UI designers in the Department of Electronics lab in 2018. My job included optimizing the UI flow and UI design of BlueNet which is an app developed for transportation integration, participating in the development and UI design of new functions, graphic design, and introduction video editing. 

After a year of working part-time in the Department of Electronics lab, I am now a UI UX designer in MCT corp., New Taipei City.  
During the past year, I have completed the UI UX design of one app, a UI flow optimization project, about 10 product manuals design, and a few video editing at work. Meanwhile, I finished my master thesis, obtained my Master’s degree, and published two international conference papers in my spare time.

With the above experiences, I have not only polished my designing skills, but also learned the effective way to communicate with other teams. I am ready for the next journey towards more UI/UX challenges.
