Dr. Leon D James believes in promoting healthy smiles and life- 
 saving dentistry. He has limited his scope of dentistry to help patients who suffer from damaged teeth, jaw pains, and sleeping disorders. 
 Dr. James has practiced for over 15 years specializing in patients 
 who are fearful of the dentist. He believes in changing lives - one 
 smile at a time. 
  
 As an expert in Implants, Sedation, Sleep Apnea, and TMD, Dr. 
 James will help you regain your smile back and live a pain-free life 
 with a wonderful smile. 
  
 Dr. Leon D. James DDS, MBA received an undergraduate degree 
 from Prairie View A&M University in Biology. In 2006 , he received 
 his Doctoral of Dental Surgery from Howard University College of 
 Dentistry located in Washington, DC. In 2007 , Leon completed an 
 intensive general residency program at Bronx Lebanon Hospital, 
 focusing on Total Mouth Rehabilitation, Implants, Cosmetics, and 
 Sedation Dentistry. Earlier in Dr. James' career, he dedicated himself 
 to serve the underserved communities. In 2004 , Dr. James became 
 a member of the National Health Service Corps and served as 
 a dental director at Charter Oak Community Center in Hartford, 
 Connecticut. 
  
 Dr. James also completed specialty training for IV sedation at 
 Montefiore Hospital and Implantology at the Medical College of 
 Georgia. He also completed advanced training in orthodontics, 
 in which he has received Diplomate degrees in Implantology, 
 Cosmetic Dentistry, and Orthodontics. In addition, Leon D James 
 DDS completed TMD training from the Dawson Institute and is 
 credentialed as a qualified dentist for treating sleep apnea with oral 
 appliances by the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. 
  
 Dr. James has built his life on the philosophy of being A Student for 
 Life; therefore in 2014 , Dr. James received his MBA degree from 
 		 
 Texas Tech University. In 2010 , 2015 ,2018 , and 2019 , Dr. Leon D. 
 James was selected as one of the Leading Physicians of the World 
 for Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry.
