Based in Los Angeles, Lloyd Segal serves as president of the Los Angeles Real Estate Investors Club. He assumed the club presidency from Phyllis Rockower in 2016. In addition to his responsibilities as president, he is an active real estate investors and mortgage banker, as well as a public speaker. Lloyd Segal previously practiced law for more than three decades and has authored numerous books, including Everything You Wanted to Know About Chapter 11 Bankruptcy…But Were Afraid to Ask and Stop Foreclosure Now, the latter of which was named Best Personal Finance Book of the Year in 2009. Lloyd Segal holds a bachelor of arts in business administration from Boston University. During his time as a law student at the Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, he developed the school’s speakers program and served as the group’s first chairman. While serving in this position, he brought a number of prominent legal minds to the university, including former US Supreme Court Judge Tom Clark and Watergate attorney Fred Thompson, as well as numerous government officials.
