I worked as a barista in a luxury coffee house in West Hollywood. I picked up valuable skills such as working in a team in a fast paced environment as we would experience long rush hours where we would serve up to as many as 200 customers within an hour and as a staff would have to work to handle all the orders. I had to have strong communications skills and interpersonal skills because I interacted with many different types of personalities and customers from all kinds of backgrounds as LA is a very multicultural city.Design Intern

I worked as a design intern for RE/Done LLC. for two summers. My tasks included sitting in on design meetings, packing and sending PR packages, selecting fabrics and assisting in scouting photoshoot locations as well as well as fittings. This allowed me to develop my interpersonal skills as I had to work as a messenger between different departments and assisting in company meetings. I also developed my organizational skills as I had to organize past collections by season and drop in a large on site storage facility that held every article as well as cataloging every item.
