Lynette Boggs-Perez is an attorney and mediator representing individuals and facilitating settlements in family, child custody, child welfare and juvenile justice cases in eight counties throughout south Texas, including Bexar County. Before her life as a lawyer, Attorney Boggs worked in both city and county government in Las Vegas, Nevada for 15 years. She is a former Assistant City Manager for the City of Las Vegas. In 1999, she became the first woman elected to lead a City Council ward in the history of that city. She is also a former Clark County Commissioner. President George W. Bush appointed her as one of his six citizen trustees of the United States Naval Academy to alongside 12 members of Congress. She is a past board member of the Miss America Organization.

Founding Attorney and Mediator, January 2013 – present • Established a law practice with a focus on criminal defense of both children and adults charged with misdemeanor and felony offenses in Bexar, Wilson, Atascosa, Medina and surrounding counties in South Texas. • Serve as attorney and guardian ad litem in Child Protective Services (CPS) civil lawsuits in the 81st and 218th Judicial Districts of Texas, encompassing six counties in South Texas. Represent both children and parents in adversary hearings, mediations and trial on the merits. • Civil litigation appearance counsel for various banking, financial and credit card companies. • Have tried both civil and criminal cases before juries. Have litigated more than 100 bench trials. • Mediator with an emphasis on Child Protection, Family Law, Governmental and Neighborhood Disputes. Donated more than 50 hours of pro bono services in 2017 as a volunteer mediator for the Bexar County Dispute Resolution Center. • Member, Texas Bar College, 2016 to present.
