Leuven, Belgium Toyota Motor Europe offers a combination of various B2C and B2B IT solutions to the European markets for both the Toyota and Lexus brand which are then configured and used by said markets to best fulfil the needs of their customers. Most relevant are the main website and the mobile app.
For this project our scope was mainly focused on bringing new value to the Customer Portal part of the website but also included various integration- and other enabler work for other parts of the website or the mobile app.
Overall context
- Complex business landscape where requirements of end-customers(+millions), markets (+40), TME, and business initiatives need to be translated into a well defined, prioritised backlog that can efficiently be delivered and maintained by the Delivery teams.
- Complex political landscape where different Toyota organisations, business units and contractors need to work together in a seamless way.
- Complex application landscape where various systems need to be aligned and integrated.
- Complex governance landscape where we have 7 Scrum Teams that bring new value to applications but also maintain business value in Production support.
