Why constructive feedback works: The dual path model of constructive feedback and its boundary conditions. 
Abstract
Constructive feedback is viewed as a crucial means in workplace that promote employees’ learning and performance. However, only few research explored the mechanism underlies the positive effects of constructive feedback. Drawing on Feedback Intervention Theory, this study therefore proposes a dual-path model through examining the impact of supervisors' constructive feedback on employees' perceptions of supervisor support, self-threat, as well as their subsequent work engagement and psychological withdrawal behaviors. The study further investigates the moderating effects of growth-need and positive core self-evaluation. We collect valid 245 samples consist of full-time employees in Taiwan who have regular interaction with their immediate supervisors by conducting a two waves online survey. The results indicate that (a) Constructive feedback is positively associated with perceived supervisor support and negatively associated with self-threat. (b) Perceived supervisor support is positively related to work engagement and negatively related to psychological withdrawal behavior. In addition, self-threat is positively related to psychological withdrawal behavior. (c) The indirect effects of constructive feedback on psychological withdrawal behaviors via both self-threat and perceived supervisor support. As for the link between constructive feedback and work engagement is mediated by perceived supervisor support. (d) Positive core self-evaluation moderates the relationship between constructive feedback and self-threat, subsequently influencing on psychological withdrawal behavior. In conclusion, this study synthesizes its results and existing feedback research to collectively discuss the theoretical contributions, research limitations, future directions and provide managerial implication for human resource practices.

→ Confirm others’ core needs- To produce the best possible results and support my co-workers in discussions, I successfully identified each quarter's perspectives. During progress meetings, I synthesized information by deconstructing the propositions. 

→ Preceding preparations- Within 3-4 days following the progress meeting, I used Microsoft Office to create a detailed and optimized project plan based on the organized information. The plan encompassed posters, venues, processes, and fallback positions.

→ Monitoring and execution- Implemented the elaborated program, which included reception, attendance, and equipment operation, cautiously but effectively, in order to ensure that the events proceeded smoothly.

→ Retrospection- Collected and organized feedback from relevant personnel, produced achievement reports, and reviewed and improved plans within 3-4 days after the events to make advances in the next project or collaboration.

Personnel screening- Combining my own work experience with it, I participated in the selection and retention of new recruits, interviewing 41 candidates and hiring 19 excellent novices for the group.
Caring Activity co-organizer- Cooperated with schools and dormitories to assist in over 20 activities that helped students adapt to their environment. Additionally, I also provided support to other dormitories as needed.
