A company specialized in IoT connectivity modules and routers with a 30-year background in the cellular technology space providing device-to-cloud solutions.
Responsible for the technical support of approximately 100 employees and contractors at the Taipei, Taiwan location.
-Worked in collaboration with the corporate ServiceDesk team and other Field Service and systems Administrator staff in Toulouse, Issy-Les-Moulineaux, Richmond, Atlanta, and India with remote users throughout the world and provided technical skills to the Corporate Network and Data Center Operations Team.
-Assisted in user support, both for hardware and applications, and provided for IT projects, including hardware setup, application installation, and the maintenance of WAN / LAN / Wireless / Internet configuration involving the purchase, install, test, operate, upgrade, and maintain hardware, software and managing network accounts based on HR-initiated work requests.
-Managed supplies and stock, software license distribution, issued procurement requests as needed, and provided input into the quarterly and yearly expense planning process for anticipated purchases.
-Provide general assistance to the rest of the IT and systems organization, including being the ‘remote hands’ for all Data Center Infrastructure work with the Network team and VMWare vCenter Administration.
-Assist in the configuration of new deployments as well as upgrades and retirement of existing systems.
