A New Jersey-based executive, Miguel Bermeo held several leadership positions in revenue management and risk management with the American Express Global Leadership Team both in the United States and abroad. In addition to spending three years building fraud and credit models, he led the marketing of analytical processes supporting international markets for four years. Additionally, New Jersey resident Miguel Bermeo led international card and loans lending businesses and oversaw credit risk teams in Latin America and Canada. Since 2004, Mr. Bermeo has served as chief executive officer of Scimedico, a laboratory solutions firm that provides data-supported services to improve clinical lab functions and patient outcomes. Mr. Bermeo oversees all operational aspects, from business strategy to organizational development, leading a team of 1,200 risk management professionals in areas such as customer management, underwriting, and collections. He also handles credit and fraud risk management across the company. Charitably minded, Mr. Bermeo supports health facilities such as Penn Medicine, Boston Children’s Hospital, and Women’s Health Connecticut.
