A multi-task project led by Todd Verge, a NSCC instructor.
Responsible for learning Arduino software development, TCL programming language and developing GPS tracker. Participate daily scrum meeting and present weekly progress. Write C&C++ code to program an Arduino board (SIM808), tie it up with a balloon and send it to 3000 meters high. Track its location data and present its visualization. Reprogram a virtual presence robot with Bluetooth controller.
Accomplishment
◦ The GPS data was precise enough to be found its device.
◦ The first group got the device back safely from NSCC GPS tracker
project.
◦ The virtual presence robot works perfectly with Bluetooth controller,
most of buttons can be functioned.
