Paul Daugerdas, a seasoned consultant, attorney, and certified public accountant from Wilmette, Illinois, has built a distinguished professional profile in the financial, legal, and accounting fields. Simultaneously, he has maintained a significant presence in philanthropic endeavors, actively supporting various charity organizations.
Daugerdas's enthusiasm for academic success was established early. His scholastic journey began at St. Laurence High School in Burbank, Illinois, where he graduated with honors in 1968. Furthering his education at De Paul University, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with distinction in 1972 from the College of Commerce. That same year, he obtained his CPA certificate from the University of Illinois. Further building his academic portfolio, Daugerdas procured a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from De Paul University's College of Law in 1974.
Daugerdas has held a series of influential roles across renowned organizations within the financial, legal, and accounting sectors. His career at Arthur Andersen & Co. began as a staff member, progressing to the position of partner by 1984, during his tenure from 1974 to 1994. He showcased his expertise in M&A as a member of the Mergers, Acquisitions & Reorganizations Tax Specialty Team and as the Head of the Central Region Financial Markets Team.
In 1994, Daugerdas made a career move to the Law Offices of Altheimer & Gray, becoming a partner and head of the Tax Department, also serving on the Steering Committee. His career path then led him to the Law Offices of Jenkens & Gilchrist, where he was a Shareholder/Partner, oversaw the Chicago office, and co-led the Tax Practice from 1999 to 2002.
