Ray Teare founded Synthetic Turf International of Southern California in 2013 and continues to lead the firm to generate six-figure revenues annually. During this time, Ray Teare has established an extensive customer base among commercial businesses and contractors, among other clients. As a result of his work, he has led the company to generate a significant portion of sales through referrals. In 2018, 80 percent of revenue came through referrals. To achieve this, he has consistently aimed to build trust with clients and exceed expectations when completing their projects. Mr. Teare and Turf International have earned multiple accolades during this time. In 2018, Design Concepts named the company Outdoor Designer of the Year, while it was named Best Installer of Pet-Friendly Designs by PBM in 2020. To augment his work with the firm, he is affiliated with the Synthetic Turf Council and several other professional organizations. Ray Teare is an avid baseball fan and plays with the Denver Bears and So Cal Storm.
